Who am I? What is the TBLChronicles? Read on and all of your question will be answered. My name is Dave Hyer and I reside in Baton Rouge Louisiana with my wife and four kids.  I like to fish, hunt, hike, and almost any other outdoor activity you can think of.  When it comes to fishing though, I have a particular fondness for chasing thin blue lines with light flyfishing tackle.  That's right look at map, find a blue line on public land and fish it.  The beauty is that you are fishing, whether you get skunked or find a lurking monster (they exist), it sure beats a day at the office. Thin Blue Line Chronicles is just an online journal of trip reports and pictures (maybe videos at some point) of my journey chasing thin blue lines.  We not going to box this in though, I may take some saltwater trips and I will document those here as well.  Let's see where the thin blue line leads.......
